CREATE YOUR OWN GROUP: TRAIN WITH A FRIEND

Do you have a friend or two who are also interested in personal training? 

At moov personal training we encourage you to promote fitness and well-being. If you have a friend or family member who would like to train with you, this makes personal training a lot more affordable. Train with up to a group of 3 people (if more than 3 people then please get in touch to discuss).

Cost: for as little as $30each you can enjoy the benefits of personalised training. See our pricing list for further details on pricing options. 

What to expect: You will each need to go through our 45minute initial consultation to get a full body assessment and medical/injury history. This can be done individually or in a group to reduce costs (please contact to discuss group option).

What if my friend and I have different goals?: With our small group training you can still have individual programmes and work on separate goals within the same session. That is not a problem.

Benefits of training with a friend: - Huge reduction in cost. - Way more fun. - Can give you a little competitive edge. - Helps maintain motivation.


YOGA CLASSES

HATHA YOGA CLASS (maximum 10 people per class)

Our Yoga classes are suitable for beginners. Paula, our Yoga Instructor, will take good care of you during the class. The poses used are all scaleable and there are blocks & belts provided to assist you getting into the posture for those who need it.

The type of Yoga practised in this class is Hatha Yoga, this is the foundation of every style of yoga practised. Traditional Hatha yoga is a holistic path that includes disciplines, physical postures (asana), purification procedures, breathing (pranayama), and meditation.

It is a great introduction to Yoga to learn the different poses and work on mindfulness. You don't have to be super flexible to attend this class, it is suitable for all levels of flexibility. The style of class is adaptable to the weather, on hotter days the class will be slower and on cooler days the pace will pick up slightly.

You will leave feeling relaxed; an increased self-awareness; more flexible; vibrant & a better person.

STRETCH/MOBILITY CLASSES

STRETCH AND MOBILITY CLASS (maximum 10 people per class)

Our Stretch and Mobility Class is ideal for office workers who develop tension due to sitting for long periods. Our class is 30 minutes long and runs at varied time slots during lunch time. It is a fast and effective way to combat the negative effects of sitting all day. You will be educated along the way about the different muscle groups and what their function is along with ways to target them to improve mobility. You will leave feeling an increase in flexibility and much more productive on your return to work. The class is run by a Physiotherapist and the stretches/mobility drills will target the most common areas of tension in office workers. You can't afford not to do this class!

What you will need: relatively comfortable clothing (you should be fine in officewear as long as the ladies are wearing trousers and not skirts).

When:    Mondays: 12:15pm - 12:45pm (TBC)

               Wednesday: 12pm - 12:30pm (TBC)

               Friday: 12:30pm - 1pm (TBC)

Cost:      Casual:          $15pp

FITNESS CLASSES

FIT4LIFE SMALL GROUP TRAINING (Minimum 3 people. Maximum 5 people)

FIRST CLASS IS FREE!

Our FIT4LIFE small group classes are intimate and highly engaging, run by a Physiotherapist qualified Personal Trainer to ensure you are trained safely and efficiently. It is a moderate-high intensity class where each individual will be challenged at a level that is safe but progressive for them, working at your own pace, training you to be stronger, more flexible and move better through life. We use predominantly your own bodyweight using a mix of movements which also include some Animal Flow; kettlebells; gymnastic rings; cables; fitballs; rowing machine to ensure a full body workout using functional training methods.

A great way to break up a day of sitting at work, get your heart rate up; increase your strength & help aid fat loss. Expect gains in fitness; strength; flexibility & stability.

What you will need: comfortable clothing; water bottle; gym towel; an open mind

When: Mondays: 1pm - 1:45pm

Cost:   Casual rate:  $20pp

            Block of 5:   $100 (you get 6th session free, only valid for 8 weeks)
